Before it was Moo Yah House...

This is where it all began.
If you've ever wondered how an ordinary little house in Montana slowly transformed into Moo Yah House, you're in the right place. These are the stories of fresh paint that somehow ended up everywhere but the wall, baseboards that developed personalities, fireplaces with opinions, unexpected lessons, and the delightful cast of characters who appeared along the way—including one very determined Morsel Wrangler and the mysterious Dryer Lint Oracles.
Some days are funny. Some are thoughtful. A few are held together with coffee and prayer. Every one of them is true.
Pull up a chair, stay awhile, and wander through the moments that built not just a house,
but a home with a story worth telling.
Welcome home. 🪣🧤🦺
Dryer Lint Oracles
Every home has its wise old sages.
Mine apparently lived in the dryer.
No matter how carefully I cleaned the lint trap, there was always a bit left. It seemed there might be cryptic advice here:
"That shirt shrank because it feared commitment."
I never actually heard them speak, of course...
...but after enough renovation dust, sleep deprivation, and trips to the hardware store, their whispers began making an unsettling amount of sense.
I'm still convinced they know where the missing socks go.
They simply aren't telling.
